Date for SketchCrawl #33
Date for SketchCrawl #33
the 33rd World Wide SketchCrawl will be held on October 15th 2011. The upcoming event post for SketchCrawl.com 33rd will be posted at that time as well.
This time we want to do it at Monte's in Todd Street, Great Food, Groovy Music, and really spectacular decorations.
From 2 pm we will go across the road to Melanka park to document "Alice Together"... Please contact if you are wanting to participate.

32nd International SketchCrawl - Worldwide Drawing Marathon
The date has been set for Saturday 23rd July - we will meet at SOMA cafe in Todd Mall at 11am. Please BYO sketchpads, pencils, etc... Oh! and, it's free.
Sebastian Simon Preston Hall will be playing piano, and there'll be Magic Tricks by Joe Piper - so please let me know of your interest by leaving a comment here, or there, or if you know me personally, you can just call me/tell me next time we meet :)

28th International Sketchcrawl
We had a nice turnout of genuine Alice artsy types today, possibly the best SC ever! It's going to be hard to top it next time. Courtenay played some wonderful, moving music in an acoustically amazing airplane hanger, whilst the rest of us chilled out and made some lovely sketches. A short trip out to the cemetary next door turned up a sketch of Albert Namitjira's grave - apparently all the great pioneers of this town are buried together there, including the powerfully eccentric Miss Olive Pink! The taxidermists' room will have to wait another day...
The next Alice Springs sketchcrawl (28th worldwide sketch-a-thon) will be held at Vietnamese Restaurant, Heffernan Road (off Colonel Rose Drive, on the way out to the airport) at noon Saturday 31st July.
